It was born in 1919 named “Caffè Moderno” as a cafè and a billiard room. In 1963 it turned into an ice cream and pastry shop (now also chocolate shop) converting its own name in Pasticceria Gelè. Thanks to its secular history it is considered a tradition and continuity symbol. It has been include in Gambero Rosso “I migliori bar d’Italia” guide thanks to the highest quality of its products.
